But for now I’ll just say I love you
Nothing more seems important somehow
And tomorrow can wait come whatever
Let me love you forever but right now
Right now

But for now let me say I love you
Later on there’ll be time for so much more
But for now meaning now and forever
Let me kiss you my darling then once more
Once more

Happy one year anniversary darling!

drive to you

Being alone used to be just fine
Now life without you is just passing time

When you're not here, it feels like a hole in my chest

So I drive to you tonight
I was blind, now I have sight.
I couldn't leave you even if I tried
Your heart beats inside of me
Like a star in the dark of night
Like birds lost in flight
Like clouds in the sky of blue
I belong with you

I can't stop, won't stop
Love is what we've got
I know I've reached the top
When I put my arms around you
I can't stop, won't stop
You are all I want

So I drive to you tonight
I was blind, now I have sight
So I drive to you tonight
I was blind, now I have sight
I couldn't leave you even if I tried
Your heart beats inside of me
Like a star in the dark of night
Like birds lost in flight
Like clouds in the sky of blue
Like clouds in the sky of blue
Oh, I belong with you

support

Like I said the other day, time flies by before you realise.

It’s been seven months since TOH and I started seeing each other.

He has been a great ‘supporter’ of the things I do and the decisions I make. He continuously encourages me.

Like wise, I the same for him.

Although, I must say that being supportive doesn’t mean that we agree with each other all the time.

Yes, we share quite a large chunk of similarities, yet, at the same time TOH always say to me ‘we’ll just have to agree to disagree then’.

It’s not easy accepting that when he says that to me. I will pucker up and sulk. But then it was for dramatisation only. I can never be angry with him for long.

It is these banters and ‘dramas’ that makes us us.

I’m the crazy one (although I saw a quote yesterday ‘I’m not crazy. I just have issues’) and he is the one that play along so that I won’t be the only obvious crazy one.

It is not rocket science that being supportive for one another is an important virtue of any relationship, but, we often take for granted things like this.

When you’ve been in a rut like me (in my past), you will understand where I am coming from.

Seven months. It seemed so fast, yet, it that all? It seemed longer than that, in a good way.

I am happy. We are happy. *smiles contently*

TOH play cheat by wishing me last night before midnight and sending an email to me yesterday for this morning.

Nonetheless it was a good move on his side.

I have to admit however, that I actually didn’t realise it last night, along the lines of forgotten at that time of the night.

Anyways...

Happy seven months.

Thanks for all you've said babes. You meant a lot to me too and I'm always so glad to have you.

compromise

What’s yours is mine, What's mine is mine.

Not allowed.Why?Because I said so.

Every relationship should go by the above rules. Bear in mind, the ownership of the rules is the female party of the relationship.

Most sensible men know that.

For example, buying a house: if the woman said no, the man has to go with it. However, if the woman says yes, the man can’t afford, then it is a no. Even if the man can’t afford but the woman wants it exceptionally much and the man sort of want it (at least he must sort of want it), they will still get the property. But the woman will make the main decision. You’ve got to watch enough of Relocation, Relocation; Property Ladder; Grand Design; or any property related programme to see this reoccurring pattern.

I’m glad that TOH understands that - only oh too well.

But it doesn’t mean that he is always being pushed over by me. He just gives in most of the time. And most men do that so that they don’t get into too much hassle - a wise move on the male species. Most importantly TOH loves me, and I think the rules isn’t really too too bad.

There are times that TOH also just put his feet down and say no to my whims and fancies. And it works the same, because I love him too. Okay, there will be some resistance, as usual trying to get my way. But I know when a no should be a no, as well.

To summarise it, it is actually all about compromising.

And when you love someone enough, you will do whatever you can to make them happy, more so, to make the relationship work. However, this does not mean that you neglect your principles or even voicing your opinion.

Even if you don’t make a conscious change, I find it very interesting that we subconsciously make subtle changes, subconsciously, unknown to ourselves, things that probably, someone else will notice.

It is through compromise and good communication on both our part, the past six months went by a breeze. It always amazes the both of us that we only been together for six months because it feels much more than that. Maybe because we understand each other so well, more so, I believe it is because we give and take. He gives a lot and I take plenty. >.< ^_^

To my darling, Happy Six Month Anniversary! I’m so glad to have you in my life. With lots of love. xx

childish

Never dare a Scot.
He/She will do anything whether under or not under the influence of alcohol.

I guess it is just because Scots can be full of life.

But yeah, never dare a Scot anything, or at least TOH, or at least daring him to do something silly. He will as he has. Age doesn't matter. Yes yes.. I know I'm back to the age thingy again...

I guess the age old saying of 'life is short'. Or perhaps TOH is just childish, just like me.

And it is this childishness that we both possess attracts and keeps us together. This childishness that make us giggle at silly little things, afterall 'laughter is the best medicine'.

Mind you, when I mean childish, doesn't mean like supremely imbecile childish. We just know how to have fun and enjoy each other's company.

Perhaps we are really comfortable with each other.

Perhaps we don't have to pretend in front of each other.

Perhaps we just know how to enjoy ourselves, enjoy each other's company.

Perhaps we are just good at laughing at ourselves.

Whatever the reason, I'm glad we are and can be childish.

Make such a difference being serious and put on this serious look all day or all the time.

Most of all, it is great because we have so much fun together.

Thank you babes for always making me smile and laugh. I love all the time we spend together. Even though you drive me up the wall sometimes. Still, I think I drive you up the wall more often than you do.

awaiting

I’ve been waiting patiently for the day to come. I know we both have.

Week after week, we tell each other, Friday will come before we know it. Friday come and weekend gone, we say the same thing. It’s been a few weeks now and Friday is not far away now.

Finally, in just another few days, we’ll have two whole weeks of being with each other.

It should be good. It will be good. I just have to remember to pack extra warm clothes, since somebody’s flat is freezing cold. >__<

I’m looking forward to the cuddles in front of the fire, admiring the Christmas tree, watching tv, our never-ending chats, walking around the neighbourhood admiring other people’s Christmas decoration, essentially, just spending time together.

Ideally, it would be nice to have a wood fire burning, us cuddling together with a nice throw wrapped around us, and a spectacular view out of the deck to something beautiful and snowy.

How nice… Still Friday is not long now.

You know I always feel that way babes. xx

since we met

Ever since I first heard this song, it is one of my favourite Tommy Emmanuel songs.

And since I just went for his concert, plus how much I love this song, it is only fittingly that this song is shared with my beloved.

Tommy, and I'm sure with all songwriter, has a story behind each song they composed. And this was no exception.

'Since We Met', was written in the back of the taxi that Tommy was travelling in. He was in love with somebody at that time and he wanted to write her a song. He only had 20 minutes to write this song. So, Tommy took out his guitar from his case and his cassette recorder that he carried with him and told the taxi driver to drive slowly while he wrote (and recorded) the song. And just as the simple title says it all, a love song written by a lovesick guy, it is such a beautiful song that I loved ever since I first heard it.

Since We Met by Tommy Emmanuel

To my wonderful bf, this song is dedicated especially to you!

I had the best three months with you.

You are the best thing that ever happened to me and I'm forever thankful of that.

A very patient person (when I don't push you overboard, but still VERY patient even when I do drive you to the edge) and a great listener, you understand me better than anyone I've known.

You are such a sweetheart.

As much as we know the distance seems unbearable but it is also amazing how well we use it to our advantage.

And as usual, weekends means more to us, and we look forward to each one of it with much anticipation.

With lots love... xx

bff - best friend forever

TS is here visiting.

We met up yesterday.

We went around the West End exploring places. He in his usual know-it-all manner (it’s a compliment just in case you are thinking otherwise) patiently explained the things that come within our sight. In between, we catch up what has been happening since the last time we met.

The catching up continued over pizzas: proper Italian pizzas. I had the porcini, anchovies and sweetcorn topping, which I think the anchovies was a little on the salty side but later realised the combination actually went quite well together, and limonata. We later had a hot drink, I had Hot Chocolate. I think the only thing missing was gelato.

Ever since having gelato in Italy it is something I always crave for. Beautiful, tasty and rich proper gelato.

Anyways, we later catch up over watching tv as well.

Sitting opposite TS, it was then I realised that how great it is to have a best friend it was then I realised how blessed I am to have best friends.

I can’t help thinking of that special someone, TOH.

I am truly blessed to have found a wonderful friend who I can call my best friend.

Someone I can share my joys, tears, frustration, ideas, anything and everything.

A person whom shares the same interests with me.

And still put forward his opinions which normally end up us being argy-bargy due to both of us being stubborn of our own opinions.

Someone who puts up with my insaneness. My eccentricity. At the same time can match all of it and then keeps me grounded when necessary.

Someone who watches over me. Even though there is a great distance between us, at least for now.

Someone I look forward to see all the time. And spend every single moment with.

My weekends are not the same because of you.

You are special, very special in every way to me.

And I’m truly blessed to have found you!

Thank you for the exceptional life experience you have given to me for the past eight and a half weeks!

Lots love as always… xx

You're...
My Friend,
my companion,
through good times and bad
my friend, my buddy,
through happy and sad,
beside me you stand,
beside me you walk,
you're there to listen,
you're there to talk,
with happiness, with smiles,
with pain and tears,
I know you'll be there,
throughout the years!

ever since

Ever since, everyday is a day I look forward to.

Ever since, weekends and weekdays went by as fast.

Ever since, I can’t believed I can talk so much on the phone.

Okay, I do talk a lot I know. It was record breaking for the both of us! Who would believe two and a half hours!!! BT must really regret having free evening calls.

Ever since, my monthly mobile free allowance is not enough.

Ever since, I’ve spend so much on my mobile all of which is well worth the spend.

Ever since, you have contributed to bringing up messages in my inbox to 1,032 and counting!

Ever since, I know that no matter the distance, you are always close by.

Ever since, every single little thing reminds me of you.

Ever since, those little things make me smile suddenly.

Ever since, you have made such an impact in my life.

Ever since, I had the best thirty-one days.

Ever since, I look forward to all the days to come spending each one with you.

With lots love...
